Hollywood actor Glen Powell announced on social media that the winner of his lookalike contest that took place in Austin, Texas, on Monday, Nov. 25, will earn a cameo on his next film.
A string of celebrity look-alike events are taking Hollywood by storm lately after a Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest was held in New York last month. More events followed suit, featuring doppelgangers of stars like Zayn Malik, Jeremy Allen White, and Zendaya, among others.

The lucky guy who just won himself a big prize was Maxwell Braunstein, a physician’s assistant in Austin. According to a report by Fox 7, Powell’s mom Cyndy was a judge for the lookalike competition, and the original prize included $5, a cowboy hat, and free queso from Tex-Mex spot Torchy’s Tacos for a year.

One of his recent projects, “Twisters,” has amassed $371 million at the global box office, a strong followup to “Anyone But You,” the 2023 rom-com in which he starred opposite Sydney Sweeney, that grossed $220 million worldwide.
The 35-year-old actor first gained prominence after starring in the film “Set Me Up” and the horror series “Scream Queens.”
