Filipino actor Rocco Nacino had an out of a movie scene moment after he got the chance to rub elbows with famous Korean drama stars such as Song Joong Ki and Ji Chang Wook at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
Nacino took to Instagram to share his selfies with the South Korean actors. “Hi Big Boss,” he captioned his post with Joong Ki and tagged Dingdong Dantes, who played the former’s character in the Philippine adaptation of “Descendants of the Sun.”
Article continues after this advertisementNacino previously played the character of master sergeant Diego Ramos aka Wolf in the said adaptation, which was originally played by South Korean star Jin Goo. The Kapuso actor starred alongside Dantes, Jennylyn Mercado and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, among others.

Nacino is currently in South Korea to represent Brillante Mendoza’s film “Motherland,” which will compete in the Jiseok category of the BIFF.

Aside from the aforementioned, other celebrities, including “Squid Game” and “The Acolyte” star Lee Jung-jae, TWICE’s Dahyun, Kim Hee-ae and Thai star Billkin of the hit movie “How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies,” also graced the opening ceremony of the 29th Busan International Film Festival.

This year, a total of 278 films from 63 countries, including 54 Community BIFF films, will be screened at 26 screening rooms in five theaters in Busan. The BIFF will run from Oct. 2 to 11.
